- Is the free plan really free forever?
- Yes. Secure messages, self-destruct notes, file drop, and the password generator are always free with no usage caps. Time Vault is free for capsules opening up to 1 year from now.
- How does Time Vault pricing work?
- Time Vault beyond 1 year is a one-time fee of $5 per additional year beyond the first free year — no subscription needed. 2 years = $5, 5 years = $20, 10 years = $45. The cost is shown upfront in the form before you commit to anything.
- Do I need Pro to use Time Vault long-term?
- No. Any user — free or Pro — can seal a Time Vault for any duration by paying the per-capsule fee. Pro adds larger file uploads and longer message retention, not Time Vault access.
- Who is the Business plan for?
- Law firms, notaries, accounting offices, and any organisation that needs a fully branded secure-sharing platform under their own domain. Pricing is discussed directly — every deployment is different. Reach out for a quote.
- How does zero-knowledge work?
- Your data is encrypted in the browser before it ever leaves your device. We store only ciphertext — we cannot read your messages even if we wanted to.
- What does white-label mean?
- We deploy the entire mboxly.app stack under your domain (e.g. secure.yourcompany.com) with your logo and colours. Your users never see our brand.
- Is mboxly.app GDPR compliant?
- Yes. The infrastructure is hosted entirely within the EU. We process no personal data beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the service, and all content is end-to-end encrypted so even we cannot read it. Business customers can additionally choose a specific EU region for their database, or run the stack on their own infrastructure.
